# Voltic FrostLine Compatibility

> Check Voltic FrostLine compatibility with 2-pipe and 4-pipe fan coils, underfloor heating, and Zigbee Hubs.

Voltic FrostLine can be used in several HVAC scenarios. The exact connection depends on the device version, firmware, installed actuators, and the control logic defined for the installation.

## Compatibility matrix

| Scenario                                   | Compatibility                      | Validate before connecting                                                                                                                                     |

| **2-pipe** fan coil                        | Yes                                | This documentation's standard scheme: one valve and three fan speeds.                                                                                          |
| **4-pipe** fan coil                        | Yes, with a specific configuration | Independent heating and cooling valves, output assignment, and changeover logic according to the approved scheme for your version.                             |
| Fan coil + **hydronic underfloor heating** | Yes, with a specific configuration | Underfloor actuator, circuit priorities, sensors, and thermal protections. Do not connect an electric floor-heating load directly without a validated diagram. |
| VolticHub                                  | Yes                                | Pairing through the Voltic ecosystem and the corresponding account.                                                                                            |
| Tuya-compatible Zigbee Hub                 | Yes                                | Hub model compatibility, inclusion process, and features exposed by Tuya Smart / Smart Life.                                                                   |

  The 2-pipe diagram is not a template for a 4-pipe installation or a combined underfloor-heating installation. Do not energize the device until you verify terminal mapping, loads, and protections against the manual for your version.

## Information required for an advanced project

Before approving an advanced installation, collect:

* Exact FrostLine reference and firmware
* Fan coil and valve diagram
* Underfloor-heating actuator type, if applicable
* Voltage and current for each load
* Selected Hub: VolticHub or Tuya
* Desired heating, cooling, fan, and priority sequence

If any of this information is missing, request the connection diagram from support before wiring the device.
