Initial setup
1
Check the wiring and power the device
Verify that the diagram matches your installation and that protections are in place. Power-up must be performed by a qualified electrician.
2
Pair FrostLine with the selected Hub
Add the device from the Voltic platform or Tuya Smart / Smart Life, depending on the installed Hub. Follow that Hub’s inclusion procedure.
3
Select the HVAC scenario
Configure the installation type (2-pipe, 4-pipe, or fan coil with underfloor heating) only if it is available for your version and matches the validated diagram.
4
Set the temperature and fan control
Set heating or cooling, the temperature setpoint, and fan speed. For 4-pipe or combined installations, also check each circuit’s priorities.
5
Test each output
Test the valve, V1/V2/V3 fan speeds, and, where present, the underfloor actuator separately. Do not approve the installation just because the display turns on.
Scenario behavior
The actual sequence depends on the approved diagram; check the compatibility matrix before changing it.
Daily use
- Change the setpoint from the thermostat or the Hub app.
- Select heating or cooling according to the season and installation configuration.
- Adjust fan speed when supported by your model.
- Use schedules or Hub automations when they are available for your model.
- Allow the measured temperature to stabilize before changing several setpoints in succession.
If something does not work
- Check that FrostLine appears connected on the selected platform.
- Verify that the Hub is online and the device is not paired to another account.
- Review terminal mapping and each load’s voltage without energizing the circuit during inspection.
- Test one output at a time and record the result.
- Contact Voltic support with the device reference, firmware, Hub, and installation diagram.
